# Earning BioCoin on BEE

* BioCoin is in-game currency 
* BioCoin can be earned/spent providing biodiversity knowledge
* Participants need to log into BioExpertise Engine (BEE) to earn BioCoin
* An initial BioCoin is allocated to every categorised biodiversity submission (sighting)
* All sightings are displayed on BioExpertise Engine (BEE) for experts to identify
* Every sighting closes after 14 days in BEE
* Every sighting’s time in BEE can be extended past 14 days by ‘Boosting’
* Anybody who possesses BioCoin can ‘Boost’ a sighting
* Every sighting can receive more expertise by ‘Boosting'
* Every sighting’s identification (ID) can be ‘Challenged’
* Any sighting in BEE can get feedback from a specific expert by ‘Find an Expert’
