Earning BioCoin on BEE

• BioCoin is in-game currency

• BioCoin can be earned/spent providing biodiversity knowledge

• Participants need to log into BioExpertise Engine (BEE) to earn BioCoin

• An initial BioCoin is allocated to every categorised biodiversity submission (sighting)

• All sightings are displayed on BioExpertise Engine (BEE) for experts to identify

• Every sighting closes after 14 days in BEE

• Every sighting’s time in BEE can be extended past 14 days by ‘Boosting’

• Anybody who possesses BioCoin can ‘Boost’ a sighting

• Every sighting can receive more expertise by ‘Boosting'

• Every sighting’s identification (ID) can be ‘Challenged’

• Any sighting in BEE can get feedback from a specific expert by ‘Find an Expert’
