• Blind peer review and well-designed "expertise engines" that seek to eliminate bias will weigh higher than open social networks

• Transparent, public data that is "cheat-proofed" weighs higher than self-reported data that has no verifiability

• Staying abreast with the latest global research, standards and frameworks

• Unique forms of data that demonstrate a relationship to place and an understanding of our unique role in a particular habitat (e.g. cultural knowledge, rituals, history, temporal information).
